obama's unfaithfulness ca is so wanton that it is no longer fair to say that the aca is the law of the land. some of us have signed onto a house resolution that we believe that obamacare has yet to be the law of the land because it violates the constitution. we do not talk about that a lot. because theicant origination clause was vital to the constitution coming in to existence. negotiationritical that took place that allow the constitution to exist. it requires that all bills for raising revenue originate in the house. cato, has written an excellent piece. i asked that this be put in the record and i would like you to address it. ifatottom line is that the u.s. senate can take an unrelated piece of legislation and strike everything but the number. and, if they can take the senate health care bill, replace it in its entirety -- if they didn't take any bill and do that, i would suggest to you that, especially after the supreme court labeled obamacare a tax officially, if it can be done this way, i would suggest to you that the origination clause is a dead letter and there is no purpose

obama care. didn't vote for the stimulus bill or dodd frank. it was other stuff. the point was here is the data point and this is what has many people, the gerrycommander has split the house. people on the far right and far left because the districts are drawn all republican and all democrat. in the senate it is two things. the fact that no one votes in primaries which is the point i'm about to make and the role of big money. you asked me what changed. a case decided by the supreme court which allows unlimited amounts of money to flow into campaigns. here is what happened to dick luger. this was not a secret election. there were millions of dollars spent. a big election. everyone knew there was an election coming up. the voter turnout in that primary? 18%. fewer than one in five eligible republicans voted. it would be the same way if we had a democratic primary. who are the 18%? they tend to be the most partisan, the most idelogical. people are mad about something. if we could get the voter turnout up to 40% in primaries i think you would have a little different result. right now th

in his several books is right about the obama white house, or the books he wrote about military. his ground rules are that evil into the dim, but they can't -- material can't be used until the book comes out. he can't, in other words, rush something into his "washington post" column. so i think when you approach a justice that way, and remember, because it's a book you're not going to be writing about a decision that hasn't come out yet so you're writing about the past, hopeless understand that. one of the things that he charts in the book you're talking about is the supreme court's very important decision on whether labor unions and corporations can use their own money as opposed to setting up packs, but use their own money to spend independent of candidates to support a cat or a political party. the so called citizens united decision. citizens united case in a very odd way because it started out as a question of whether a paid broadcast or political documentary about hillary clinton that would be viewed on demand on cable counted as a kind of an election message that the law b
